Earphones not Working during Call otherwise able to hear music

Earphones not Working during Call otherwise able to hear music, able to hear whats app calls , zoom or any other voice expect for phone calls.

I have tried cleaning the jack yet the issue remains the same.

I am using a Moto g5s+

Welcome to Android Central! Can you test other earphones on the phone, or test those earphones on another device?

Tested with various headphones.. the issued remains the same.

I can hear music but no voice during a voice call..

It works just fine for what's app calls or any app but as soon as it's a voice call it's a complete blank.. the person on the other side can hear my voice

It might be time for a factory reset. If the problem persists even after that, then it might be a hardware fault.
