Earpiece speaker cracking

Hello all is anyone else experiencing the speaker cracking when you are on calls.... I have my volume half way down and still here cracking... I have insurance but am worried about a refurbished phone and how to save all my apps.. Any help would be appreciated !! thanks

Yes it cracks, a mobile caller is worse than a landline caller, turning it down does help but might not completely eliminate the problem, some phones are worse than others, no fix other than switching to a BT or wired headset.

Both of my speakers were crackly, I took it in today and they replaced both speakers, and I guess while the tech was working on it he had it plugged in or something because they said he broke the charging port off of the mother board and had to order me a BRAND NEW PHONE and not a refurbished one so I guess in a way it killed two birds with one stone.
