Earpiece Volume Extremly Low

Not sure if this is related to 8.0, but my earpiece volume is extremely low. Even at full volume I can barely hear it. Speaker phone works fine as does media volume. This started about two or three weeks ago.
Anybody else experience this, or have ideas to fix?

Installing the September security patch now. maybe it will fix it.

I always thought since the day I've owned my pixel that the earpiece volume is not loud enough . There should be a separate slider adjustment for this as well as treble and bass control as well. Had it on all my previous phones . It should not be included with the other volume controls

The Sept patch didn't help. I've had this phone since day one. The extremely low earpiece volume is a new issue for me.

Factory reset didn't help either.

I too have noticed the earpiece volume is a tad lower.
