OK this battery issue is finally going to win. I'm going to wipe my note 4. I've been on Windows for two years. What's the easiest way to back up and restore my home screens speed and other information? I know I can restore my apps through the app store but it restores every app I ever purchased. It seems like Samsung thinks of everything so I didn't know if they created their own method of backup and restore when switching between Samsung phones

The easiest way is Kies. It's also probably the worst sync program ever written.

Read Backing up an Android Phone. If I missed something, let me know and I'll add a way to back that up too. (The computer between your ears may not be as fast as the one in your phone, but it's far better at deciding what to back up to where, when.)

You'd think Samsung could do better than Kies. Even BlackBerry desktop is better. And that's sad.

If you use Nova launcher it will do great backups of your desktop to the cloud or to an external micro SD

Thanks I'm going to check this out first. I will just have to remember my home screens. Everything else sounds good

Everything worked except for helium. Apparently my phone is so messed up that the computer won't even recognize it anymore. My own flash drive should work. I'll back up what I can and see what happens
