Easiest Windows Android Emulator?

Hello,

I am trying to determine the simplest and easiest to install Windows Android emulator for my particular application. My parents don't have a smartphone, but they recently purchased a smartplug for one their electrical heaters, and the only way to remotely control the smartplug is via an app (the smartplug does not have a way to control via web browser).

After looking at the some of the different options, many of these are for people who want to play Android games on a PC (which is overkill for what I need). I am try to determine which of these is easiest to use and install for our simple application? I will send my parents the instructions to set up on their Windows 10 PC after I first test on my PC.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Android-x86 is the easiest way, but that would require a reboot to get into Android, or would require installation of a VM, like VirtualBox.

One of https://fossbytes.com/best-android-emulators-pc/ might be better suited for their use if they're mot too comfortable with computers. (Or if you don't want to set up a multi-boot system for them.)

Hello, thank you for this... Actually, I have installed Genymotion and it seems to 'fairly' easy to install and works great.
