OK.... CMD window seems ot be stuck on "wait for connect device." the device is connected, usb debugging is enabled....... does it just take time? and should I be seeing any activity on the tablet?

Got it.... had to give full permissions for all users... weird since I'm the administrator...... and the only one who uses this pc oh welll.....
