I just recently re-activated the old Epic 4G, and am experiencing the poor GPS issue. Is there a fix that can be done without rooting the phone?

Search the Play Store for "GPS Fix" and see if any of the apps can help. Here is one such app that came up in the search results and may be of some help: GPS Status - Play Store

Thanks, I'll check that out. I always thought I'd need to install one of those APK files.
