Interesting to note, I paid for Easy Teather through the Market and it ran fine on my EVO 4G. I recently upgraded to an Epic 4G Touch and I can not access the app from the Market. "This app is unavailable for carrier". Now what? I don't really want to root.

Search for another free usb tether app on the market for the galaxy touch

Try going to the Amazon App Market. I know they have it there. Unfortunately you probably will have to pay for it again. They have it on sale time to time for half price.

You could go to Easy Tether's website and download it from there, or if you have used a backup program you could restore the APK to your new phone. I have had to restore from backup when I have switched ROMS.

I didn't know Google/Sprint are not allowing the apps, I have noticed this type of conduct on other apps within the Market.
