Easy Tether

Is it worth getting Easy Tether for Thunderbolt? It's 50% off today for $4.99 on Amazon. I am not rooted so this is the only option.

Yes, although it just crashed on me and now my computer won't recognize my phone. When it works it works flawlessly

I have never had a problem with EasyTether. Make sure the HTC drivers are installed by installing HTC Sync. If you do not plan to use it you can uninstall Sync but you will keep the drivers. Then, make sure you install the EasyTether software onto your computer once you have downloaded to your phone. Then you should be good to go. I used it quite a bit before root was attained.

thanks for the tip. it was pretty easy to setup (using it now). this is going to be useful when traveling.
