Ebay alert notifications

My ebay notification alerts have stopped working, does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it, I list auctions and really need this issue fixed, so when I am away from my home pc. I still can take care of business. never had a problem until a few days ago, Please anyone that has any idea, Thanks :'(

Welcome to Android Central! Open the eBay app, go to its Settings, and make sure notifications are still turned on. If they are, then go to the App Manager, select eBay, and make sure the "Show Notifications" checkbox is on. If that still doesn't work, then see what happens if you Clear Cache and Force Stop the app from that page.

thank you for your quick response, my notifications are turned on in my eBay settings, I did check that when it stopped working a few days ago, rechecked it and yes they are on, went to app manager and the box is checked for notifications and is enabled, I am going to try the force stop here shortly was just waiting for my auctions to end. all my other notifications are working, but eBay is not. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that did not fix the problem. it seems its should either be an app problem or the settings but they all are on... I am stumped and frustrated... I appreciate your help, if you think of anything else, let me know please, and I will let you know if the force stop works.

If it still doesn't work after clearing the cache/data, then try uninstalling and reinstalling it. If that still doesn't help, then contact their support team: androidhelp@ebay.com

I was wondering if you got this problem fixed. I have been haveing the same problem for about a week now. I get emails from ebab but no notifications. I have done everything that has been suggested so far with no fixing the problem. Would like to know what you did if yours is working now.

Go in to your phones sounds and notifacaion settings then select app notifications and find ebay then select set as priority and it should fix your problem.

I'm getting my notifications, but went I go to eBay they don't show up. After a minute it just times out. Is this an android issue or eBay?

I'm wondering the same thing. I have an LG G4 & it kept getting hot til eventually it was ruined so they sent me another (refurbished?) one & now I don't get the cha ching at all & I have tried everything you can think of. I thought maybe it was the last update they did in Oct? Thats also when I started having trouble with my phone right after that update. Now the new one has different things on it even tho its the same phone, But, NO ebay cha ching when I sell stuff. Very aggravating.
I have uninstalled....reinstalled
Cleared cache & Data
Changed different ways in notifications

Hi did you ever fix this issue gutted cant find a way to get cha-ching back I have S9 now but I used to have on my old phone but i think happened also when ebay update October.
Surely someone has worked it out? How can some have it and others dont ?
Or has everyone lost it now?
