Echo issue while on speaker

The folks hearing their voice bounce back are all on their cell phones vs landlines. I did disable wi fi calling but immediately I could not turn on/off my security cameras once away from the house. I wasn't even on wi fi when this was happening so it made no sense. I was about ready to go to an S-22 but on another post a user of the S-22 was having the same issue. I hated my IPhone I had for work before retiring and prefer to not go back to it but my wife, son and daughter and sister in laws all have one on Verizon and they are not seeing the issue.

I had people tell me on speakerphone on my S21 Ultra that it echoed. I have only used it twice on my S22 Ultra on speaker and the person on the other end didn't tell me their was an echo like they did on my 21 several times.

I have had this problem. If reboot into safe mode and then reboot again, it will usually go away -- at least for a while. Has been very frustrating. I'm on Tmobile so it is not just a verizon problem.

I think best thing to do is report this to Samsung and your carrier , i would even stop in your carrier store and try duplicate the issue there so they can see whats happening.

The last time I was in our local (only one within an hour) there was a kid behind the counter who knew less than the customer he was helping. I felt bad for the kid but also for the customer as they were not happy with the advice the kid was given. I heard the kid say a lot of "I think" and "well maybe" and he just didn't sound confident. I realize getting good help can be difficult but I have to wonder what they pay for salaries in these stores?

I'm not sure what the salary is but I try couple different stores or a cooperate one

Problem is I live from everything. I am actually quite surprised the small town even has a Verizon store and it is still 30 minutes from me.

Not sure what your going do but if I had this issue I'm either driving to a store , making some calls or replacing the device, I wouldn't sit idle on a issue.

How long is the problem fixed for before it reappears again?

I'm in Phoenix all next week and I believe a much larger and better staffed store is located near my hotel so I'll visit them.

Does your phone have this setting? Just a thought

Ok keep us posted

Of course it did not happen the last week or so leading up to this trip so I never thought to look into it at the store but we were also having so much time with our grandchild that I also let it slip my mind. I'll see if it happens back to my normal routine and I may drive to a larger Verizon store vs the small one in the country near me when it does happen.

Ok sounds good

Finally after months of troubleshooting this problem I think I stumbled upon what is causing the Wi-Fi echo problem. It happens after I make a Duo video call. I do not know what the solution is but at least I know that after a Duo video call the Wi-Fi echo will reappear. Right now the only solution is to reboot the phone after I get off a Duo video call.

Problem finally solved. Turn off the Samsung video call effects and reboot. The WIFI echo calling problem will be gone never to return!!
