Hey guys,

I'm a developer for Echo, an Android app that does localized messaging. Very briefly here's how it works:

  • Send and receive messages in a 3km (1.9mi) radius - that radius is subject to change btw, and...
  • You can "echo" messages that you receive to make them accessible in your own radius.
(thus increasing their reach, kind of like retweeting except it's localized)

Right now we'd really love to get some more users on the network, and for those users to give us as much feedback as possible.

Here's the Play Store page: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ps/details?id=com.hevenet.echo&token=paXpXvx0
Here's our funky website: The Secret Network - Localized Messaging with Echo

Thank you!

Okay.I tried it out with some of my friends. Its nice except in some areas where the gps in weak the location gets goofed up!

Hum, right now it will only use the network location provider if the GPS is disabled. It might be best to get it from both especially for users who might be in doors...
