pixel filter off playstore set to 62%...

I was losing 45% overnight and dealing with a red hot phone and just a couple of hours screen time if I was lucky before the above solution and about to give up on the edge 6+.......

Its now a great useable phone and I ve ditched carrying the charger around !!!


To be honest I cant see the point in fitting a super dogs danglies screen bar bragging rights if it consumes so much power and the settings I use still look good and having looked at milli amp consumption its dropped from a staggeringly high red hot 1150ma to 262 ma and its cool !!!

I agree, I looked at the screen from the highest to the lowest resolution and my eyes can't tell the difference in my S7 and S8. It's not that hard to change if I wanted to watch hi res videos or whatever... I get good life from my batteries. The battery saver mode really makes a difference in battery life but not much in actual usage. I check my mail etc when I want to and it sleeps the rest of the time. No background stuff going all the time...
