I don't know about everyone here, but for the most part, I disabled the edge screen and use the palm swipe feature to take a screenshot, and the swipe up and down to across my app folders. 2jat about everyone else when?

For example, all of mY info is the Google app obviously...

Not sure where you're going? I also use palm swipe, but also use Edge a lot, very handy IMO. I prefer screens so only use up/down if I need and app I don't use often, as those are on my home screens.

Ok i can understand that. I have my app folders in my swipe up and down i and haven't found much other use for the edge panels otherwise. What other edge panels do you use though?

I use the edge screen and palm swipe. I initially Didn't think I'd find the edge screen useful, but it's been very useful. I did try to use the task edge where you can press the button to screen cap, but I didn't like it.

Yeah I u tried that, and the samsung internet bookmarks panel, but I honestly could get used to it... Unfortunately.

What other edge panels do you use though?

I have Apps, people, Data usage, and quick tools. Have tried others but usually forget them or don't use them. I much prefer Apps on the Edge.

Mmm gotcha. I'm getting much more used to the folder apps by the swipe up and down now. For my weather, it's through the Google App etc. Just wanted to get everyone else's suggestion as to what you use the edge for. Thanks for the responses so far!

I'm flying from china to NC right now and an S8 is waiting for me. I have NO IDEA how to use it, android and the side swipe thing. As an Apple guy for years I am going in blind. Heaven help me!!

The Edge Panel is my favorite Samsung innovation. I'm addicted. In danger of buying so many panels that it takes 10 minutes to scroll through them all. (That's hyperbole.)

Particularly partial to apps, contact and reminder panels. Much prefer to swipe than hunt through apps on my home screen.

Haha very good point. I first I had the weather Edge, act Edge, and the Samsung internet browser bookmarks Edge. But I slowly just got rid of them mostly because from my weather like I said I use the Google Weather app and the updates from Google Search application, and for my apps I use the apps folders by swiping up and down, and last night I have everything organized just right. On my phone so that I can find things quickly...

I gotcha. See, for me, at first I had all my app folders in my app Edge panel and I wasn't swiping up and down on the home screen but I would accidentally swipe up and down and the apps would still be there in a miscellaneous folder. So basically I got sick and tired of that and did away with the edge panel the other day and just organize the application folders and the swipe up and down on the home screen which is working out a little bit better since I can quickly uninstall them or find out more info about them straight from that screen as well. As far as the smart select screen the Palm capture will work well enough for me only because for the other features of the screen capture Edge panel, and never really needs them. The GIF option I never really used it was nice to be selected for the screen capture but I don't really need it so I can only download Andrea Nable it if I need it but the Palm capture for now will work fine but thanks for your suggestion and your input for your phone.
