Edge s6 edge + benchmark

I ran a benchmark on the edge+ and it got beat out by the note 5 and s6. Is that normal?! Attached screen shot.

Yes, it is normal. Since you're not running your Edge under the exact same conditions as the other tested / benchmarked devices, your phone naturally gets lower results. May it be due apps you installed, different network speeds, different firmware version, configuration of your device and so on ...
 
Synthetic benchmarks don't really mean much, though.

I agree, dont worry at all about benchmarks. Just worry about how your phone does in your "real world" testing, meaning, as long as you like the way your phone works, dont worry about if another phone scores better in a benchmark test, cuz it's way to easy to fudge those numbers in any benchmark test. And believe it, cuz there's people out there that will cheat their phones benchmark test just to mess with other people who might be only worried about how their phone does in those tests... fwiw
