Edit Edge contact

I was setting up my first edge (side) contact and picked the wrong thing for text. Instead of connecting to current feed, it is starting a new one. How can I edit this? I tried deleting and when I add back it is still there.

Long press on contact and move it to the trash.

I tried that. However, when I add thrm back it is remembering wrong info.
