editing song details

is it actually possible?

i am trying to find a way to edit song details using the stock music app (such as renaming the song title or artist, etc.) with little success.


i want to avoid downloading a third party music app because the stock app works just fine for me and together with google play i find i have too many options already, but this limitation is annoying the hell out of me.


any tips appreciated!

Have you tried E S File Explorer, it will be able to change any details you want, then going back to your default player to play the music.

Hey guys finally I found it
But this works on kitkat 4.4.4 I don't know if it will work on another version???
OK open my files and open phone storage
Chose the file where songs are on and click for 2 sconde on the song that u want to edit and open sympol of three dots in the upper right part of the screen and chose rename or whatever
