Editing Word and Excel.

The Hero comes with Quickoffice preinstalled; however, it's read only and the ability to edit is not there.

Does anyone know if Quickoffice has an upgrade that would let me edit? I looked at their website and didn't see anything.

Has anyone tried Documents To Go? I am not sure if there would be a conflict with Quickoffice.

There's a paid version of Quickoffice and Documents To Go that will allow you to edit Office documents.

I had Documents to go on my WinMobile devices and liked it. I just paid for and downloaded the Android version earlier today. I haven't played with it a lot, but so far so good. A bit pricey at $30 but has always served my needs well.

Don't get Quick Office

Get the full version of Docs To Go for Android. Quick Office will never have all of the capabilities of Docs To Go. Unfortunately we can't delete QuickOffice because it is stored in ROM. That sucks, but Docs To Go doesn't conflict with QuickOffice.
