Either my s-pen/screen is broken or you can't keep the screen protector on the phone...

So I thought I would save myself the trouble of buying a screen protector I would shortly remove or would remove itself. I figured I would just leave the piece of plastic on the phone that it came with. I always start out holding these things like a first born and end up not caring after a while. Usually the glass ones brake or fall off, aren't effective, glary, fingerprinty or clash with the case. With cases, I normally go clear and slim and even those I give up on. The soft or hard plastic screen protectors are even worse, but at least in the past those worked with the s-pen.

So before I peel off my new plastic smell, can someone confirm it doesn't work? Which I guess is better then a broken phone.

Have you taken the piece of plastic that is on top of the protector off, it should have a tab for you to pull it off.

Mine had the extra piece on the front, but it didn't have a tab.
I am not sure mine has an extra piece on the phone. No tab on front like the back had.. looks good and works well what ever I am writing on??

well, its working now..... it definitely wasn't before. not sure what was shaken loose. at least i get to keep the factory stuff for now.

Let me clarify, the extra piece on top of the screen protector was very narrow, didn't even reach the curved edges at all.
