Eligible for an upgrade?

I've only had the phone since mid May, and the T-Mobile website tells me I'm eligible for an upgrade already??

Anyone else had this happen to them? Or is this SOP for T-Mobile?

You're always eligible. Look at the price of the phone, though.

Family plan? Maybe last time you upgraded they used the upgrade from a different line because yours wasn't eligible at the time.

I was a brand new customer in May, coming from Verizon and the OG Droid. If it's SOP then fine, I was just a little surprised after being with other carriers over the years. My wife doesn't like her phone, which is why I noticed it in the first place.
