Email accounts

Last night, I was setting up my email account as I just installed CM7 this week. The default entry was for a gmail account, so I went ahead and set that up. Then, I was searching for the ability to enter my other email account (yahoo) and I was not able to find anything to allow me to do so.

Is there any way to add yahoo accounts to email on CM7?

Very Simple

Go to Manu (Next to home screen) > Settings > Accounts and Sync > On bottom part you will see <Add Account> Done

I tried that. After hitting "add account", the list only shows Skype, Corporate, SoundCloud, and Google. I tried the Google to see if it would allow me to enter a Yahoo account and it prepopulated @gmail. Thus, I figured no such luck.

I got it . What do you mean.

That acct belongs to android market and default services where you can see facebook, gmail etc. But not yahoo.

Why don't you go to android market and download app for yahoo mail. And that provide more facilities than what you are going through below mentioned steps even.

Other way is

Simply go to Email application and follow the info as in this video.

But in my view Yahoo mail apps from android market is the best choice.

There's a yahoo app or you could just install Dolphin Browser & set yahoo as a tab on your home screen
