Email attachments missing in Android email app.

Hi Guys,
Just set my new Nexus up a few days ago and all going well...nearly!
Have just noticed that when I get an email with an attachment and it is sent from an iPhone, the attachment doesn't show up on my Yahoo email with the standard android email app.
There is no paper clip that shows the attachment. When i open up the email on my computer the attachment is there no problem.
If I get the person to send the same email with attachment to my Gmail account, there is no problem at all.
Really bugging me this one....can any of you good people out there offer me any ideas?

Use the Yahoo mail app. Frankly, the stock Android app is prettier in Kit Kat, but still generally crappy.
