email contacts not in people list

I have my people list as I want it. When I am emailing on my Incredible, say for example I click on "R" there are names in the list that are not in my People list
and I can't erase them from this list. And it is also under different letters as well.
They are people who are on my facebook or those I have emailed regarding a job post (I am job hunting) I don't want these saved........nor in my list for emailing.

I have looked in my contact list on my laptop under my widows mail as well as my Gmail. I do have my gmail POP to my windows mail. This didn't happen when I had Blackberry.

I don't sync my Incredible with my laptop. I don't want my facebook contacts in my email.........how do you erase these? I hope you understand my quesition Verizon surely didn't !

Open your people app and press menu>view>and then select which contact group you want to view.

thank you but even after un-checking Google those emails are still
in the list when I am selecting someone to email. Those names are not in my people list.
