email issue after update

So after I delete emails, the statement "1 email deleted" stays on my screen for another couple of minutes after im done deleting emails
Has anyone else experienced this or is it just the email server I use?

There is a thread in the Andriod 10 forum in the OS section "Persistent toast messages." I think this is a "thing" and you may encounter it beyond the email notifications.

Yeah this is normal behavior , does it on mine .

That MIGHT be there for you to quickly undelete. What email app are you using? For gmail, when you delete (on my phone) it shows at the bottom as a strip, with an undo command. Yours might be similar but just looks different because you are a different phone with a different ROM. Next time you delete, try tapping the notice and see if you get an option to delete.

Mine shows in the stock Samsung email app after deleting 3 to 4 seconds

Really? Before the update that message would go away immediately. Now it's sticking around. Really odd

I did. Tried to long press on it but nothing happened

Perhaps consider switching to another email app, such as gmail, or BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox?
