Email not automatically being received

Anyone else not able to receive any push email using the pop accounts. I have to go into the program and automatically sync before i receive anything. Whats the point of a smart phone if it doesnt automatically pull the email?

this was happening before 2.2 update, i noticed it on monday. Not sure how to fix it, any suggestions?

i have 3 different email addresses, and none receive automatically

Put the Power Control Widget on one of your home screens and make sure that the sync control is on/active. I've read a few post where something unknown turned the sync off.

yeah, i have it directly on the home screen and its active... supposedly. I can receive my gmail through the gmail client, however i dont like that one because i cant set it as the default for emails... so i use imap through the messaging client and that used to work good for me, now all of a sudden i cant receive anything.

I did install that recovery app the other day from asurion... i wonder if that messed with it. I have since uninstalled it and will see if that works.
