Email Notification List After Jelly Bean

I'm pretty sure that for a few days after I applied the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update that when I had multiple new email messages and I would drop down the notification area a few words from each email was listed (so if I had 4 emailsthere would be 4 lines). Then suddenly it changed so that all I see now is a count of messages (if there is more than one). Has anyone else seen this? Or did I just imagine the list following the upgrade?

Use the zoom pinch to expand to see details again.

One more question...is there a way to make it rememeber the zoom/pinch for the next time I look at it. It seems to reset back to just a count when I exit and then come back.

If I recall correctly it defaults to closed, so you have to pinch it each time. Sry
