email notification not working, What is the fix for this.?

The emails do not auto matic push into the phone .

I have the settings right did a reset, shut down power and veriozon tested in the store but it stopped working again.

Not sure what the fix is?

Is the sync on? What are your settings for the e-mail? Is it set to check for mail in a certain amount of time?
