Email Notification

Although I tweaked the notification settings when initially setting up my pop3 email, I have never received audible or visual notification. Sound setting is definitely adequate to hear.

I feel that some other setting may be overriding the email notification settings but I can't locate the source of the problem.

Does anyone else's Thrive have lack of email notification?

No sir, I get notifications on all 3 email accounts. Are you using the email client that came with the tab? And adjusting the settings for the correct client?

I ask that because there is a Gmail app and an Email app. Just a thought.
 
I'm using the email that came on the Thrive---not gmail.

Yes, the settings I tweaked are for the specific client/account.

As I first went through all of the general tablet settings, I seem to recall that I set a silent option for alarms because I want no audible alarms. I cannot find though where I might have set a silent option for email; in fact, I chose the Sky option for audible notification.
