Email Notificaton on Pixel 7 and Google Watch

I use on my Pixel 7 the Blackberry HUB Android App for all my emails. It works perfectly. However, I just noticed for some emails sent to me on I get notifications on the phone and watch, and for other emails sent to me, same email address, I do not get email notifications. I ran a test where I sent emails to myself from other Laptops, phones, and no notifications. The emails arrived in the HUB but no notification for those emails. I can not figure out why?
