Email on Nexus 4

How do I tell the built in E-mail app not to delete an e-mail from the server, so I can also get the e-mail(s) on my hope PC?
I used to be able to do this on my HTC Sensation but can't seem to on the Nexus.

Are you saying if you read it, it deletes on your PC? or that if you delete it on your mobile it deletes on the pc?
I would most likely guess under your online settings e.g for gmail on the gmail website. Marking read etc for third party apps. Thats a guess, I cant remember what I did.

That is in the app settings under personal settings>incoming settings.
