Does anyone have a suggestion for a GOOD, no a GREAT email spam blocker for the DNA. I have a pop3 Comcast.net account that I use for business that the spam has exploded over the last few weeks. I have no problem controlling it on the desktop but my phone is out of control. It is coming in at the rate of about 30 per hour:mad: and dumping the account is not an option. Thanks

The solution for this generally lies with your email provider. On your desktop when you go to the website to check your mail, see if there are any options to set filters up. You should be able to select the messages that are spam and set up a filter so they are automatically deleted the next time something comes from that address.

They may also simply have a Mark as Spam option that will do this for you.

Going to your e-mail account provider is not a good solution. You need to identify each e-mail which needs to be blocked. This is an extremely difficult process. I have a spam blocker on my desk top PC which catches about 80% of the spam and directs it to a folder. We need a spam blocker application for the Android Phones.

Since you don't want to ditch the comcast email try setting it up to forward to a Gmail account for spam filter.

Another option might be to set up a filter on the email to forward only certain keywords (like bills, or email from specific people) to another email address then use that on the phone.
