Email sync doesn't remove old email

Galaxy 7, POP3 email account. When I sync email, it brings in email just fine but does not remove old emails that are no longer on the email server.

SOLVED: I used IMAP instead of POP3 and syncing email removes the emails no longer on the email server.

Glad you figured it out! IMAP is generally better to use than POP3, since it acts more as a sync, rather than POP3's physical downloading of emails.
