Emails coming in flight mode.

I've had my G4 three days and the only problem I have is that emails and messages come through when airplanes mode isis on . Any advice?

I'll take a stab at it. Do you have airplane mode with wifi turned on? That might explain it. I use internet on planes with wi-fi in airplane mode all the time. I text my friends photos out the window of the "clouds" so they can see where their data is.

No when I first put flight mode on it turns off Wifi and my mobile data then by the time I've woken up emails etc have come through.

You can recreate the problem? What model of the G4? Did you get the forced/mandatory update (AT&T /T-Mobile)?

Maybe an app wakes the Wifi to get your location? Just a thought.

If that's the case then its a bug. Apps should not be able to overrule airplane mode settings.
