emails not deleting from my hotmail server

The emails push to my phone no problem but when i delete them from my phone they do not delete from my hotmail account on my computer. Any ideas?

If emails are not deleting from Server on HTC

I had this problem and had to log into my hotmail to delete my emails twice. But have just solved the issue. Too many emails on the server. If you clear your hotmail inbox this function will then work! I'm not sure if this is likewise with yahoo email or other accounts but this is hotmail solved.

My experience: Delete the account from the phone, Soft reset the phone, then re-create the account after re-start.
