Ematic Eglide Prism 7" 8GB

We just bought an Ematic Eglide Prism 7" 8GB Android 4 for our grandson.
Where might we post questions about this Ematic? We do not see it listed anywhere on this forum.
We are trying to find out if this tablet has an airplane mode as we cannot seem to find it in Settings. We looked at the Ematic Quick Start and it says:
"Power ON/OFF: Press and hold to turn the device on or off, or to access Silent mode, Airplane mode, or Restart your device when the device is turned on. Press to lock the device, or to wake the screen for unlocking."
But no one knows what that means as we have tried to hold the power button which turns on the unit and when we close down the unit and that just asked are you ready to power off and we click on OK.
Any help appreciated.
Please advise and thank you.

If you hold the power button while the device is on for about 3 seconds.. you should get a pop up menu asking to power off the device, reboot, silent mode, airplane mode, etc..

Nope! It just has do you want to power off.
I asked Ematic support the same question a while back and finally received their answer tonight, which reads:

"There isn't an airplane mode on the Prism. That mode is usually for 3g or 4g devices like smartphones. Ours only has wifi access."

And so, I don't know what is going on.

Interesting.. it shouldn't matter that its wifi only.. my Galaxy Tab is wifi only and has airplane mode... but if technical support says it doesn't have it.. than it doesn't have it.

If it did... it should be under Settings>Wifi/Bluetooth/Data usage/More>Airplane mode..... Or the shortcut..which is to hold the power button for a few seconds.

Maybe in a future update..they'll fix it.

i too have an ematic,same model. still learning, but happy to share my experiences if you have questions.
