Mikie/anyone that can answer my question,
I found out about the emerald edge s6 from your post. I also ordered from mobicity. May I inquire where do you reside and where you will primarily be using your phone? I'm ordering mine for At&t in the usa, but don't see all bands on this samsung emerald s6 edge.
mobicity says the samsung edge s6 emerald has these bands "GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, 3G 850, 3G 900, 3G 1900, 3G 2100, 4G/LTE 800, 4G/LTE 850, 4G/LTE 900, 4G/LTE 1800, 4G/LTE 1900, 4G/LTE 2100, 4G/LTE 2600"
At&t website says the us version samsung edge s6 emerald has "Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 29 and 30"
i found a post on att forums where the best answer from a poster said att uses "AT&T 4G HSPA and HSPA+ use 850Mhz(Band 5) and 1900Mhz(Band 2) bands but it all depends on area if they own a license. LTE uses Band 17(700Mhz), Band 5(850Mhz), Band 2(1900Mhz), Band 4(1700/2100Mhz) currently."
I'm not seeing this phone sold on mobicity with band 17(700Mhz) and band 4(1700Mhz).
If anyone could make any sense of what I said it would help. These bands confuse me. I'm thinking I will get some operation out of 4g lte, but maybe not full coverage around Los Angeles as I'm missing a couple of bands. (the ones i listed above)
