Emergency alerts on 1+

Anyone else not receiving these despite having them turned on? I have the "urgent updates" in Google Now on, and under "cell broadcast settings" all the alert types are checked. On my N5 I was getting alerts about dust storms here in Phoenix pretty reliably...But now the storms come and go and my 1+ is silent the whole time. Thanks

I get them from the AccuWeather app. I don't know if I've gotten any from Google now but I'll start paying attention. I live a half mile from Lake Erie so I get a lot of lake effect weather

I haven't gotten Cell Broadcasts on my 1+ yet either, whereas my wife's Nexus 4 was going off quite regularly in the same room.
