Emergency call issue

I tried to call 911 this weekend and my phone popped up with some weird message asking if I wanted to disable data during the call or something like that. The call never went through and no one was on the line when it seemed to connect. Tried twice. Maybe they were backed up, maybe it was my phone. I don't know, but that concerns me. Its like the phone went into emergency mode or something. It wasn't really a big emergency and someone else got through to the FD but that still worries me. Anyone else have issues?

That's certainly not good. Did you try and reset your phone during this? I wouldn't take anyone's word here but rather call Verizon and find out what may have happened. Don't want to mess around in case of an emergency.
