Interesting, I'm on Rogers and although it says no update available, taping the vertical ellipses Download Latest Full Package is not greyed out.

"Download Latest Full Package" has never been greyed out on mine w/Telus.

I got an update last night but it was only a Google security update. I'm on EE in the UK.

You're right. I was thinking of another thread where someone wasn't getting the latest update months after it was released but was able to install it by tapping Download Latest, which wasn't greyed out (but apparently was before)

After getting to a wifi and tapping Download Latest last night I got nothing. Sorry for the false alarm.

I'd say yes... any phone that I've owned still received updates w/o SIM installed having it happen on multiple occasions.

Wouldn't get my hopes up. The date/s have jumped and changed so many times already. The 22nd, the 3rd, the 10th-13th, the 24th... I'll believe it's out when I see it on my phone. I think it'll be next year.

We had heard prior to purchasing our P20 Pro Huawei wasn't the greatest w/timely updates and now owning for several month I'd have to say "yup tha't definitely true"... in their defence though most manufactures have poor records (even today) except for the chosen few. And appears any time a new model rolls out the "old" have a tendency of getting thrown under the bus of sorts, happens with all manufactures.

So yeah, from what I'm seeing/hearing so far don't expect EMUI 9 to arrive until some time next year either - can't even keep patches close to being current.

Got that update too ( Canadian version - in US on Att ) . The 9 update rollout started yesterday in EU. The "expert insiders" say soon. Not expecting it until after the new year personally.

Received EMUI 9 today (Dec 25th @ 8:00PM MST) here in Canada on my P20 Pro w/Telus. D/L was 4.16GB w/security patch showing Nov 1st.
