enable bluetooth also automatically enable nearby share

when i enable bluetooth for my smartwatch and headset, i notice nearby share also enable automatically. is this normal?

i thought nearby share is soley for sending files between devices. so why enabling BT also turns on nearby share? is there a way to stop this?

Yes Bluetooth would enable near by share as it will use it to share files , go to setting at the top search bar type near by share and turn off
