Enable WiFi channels 12 - 14

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a way to enable WiFi channels 12 - 14 on my stock non-rooted N1 running 2.2? I had an issue the other day with a firmware bug in one of the networks I run that cause the whole network to switch to channel 14. Of course I was unable to see the network with my N1 or any other device since I'm in the states. I know the N1 can use those channels, but I can't find a way to turn them on.

Any idea's?

settings/wireless and networks/wifi settings/menu/advanced/regulatory domain

I am rooted, not sure what you will see. I only have channels 11/13/14 to choose from. Only one choice can be made.

I don't have the regulatory domain in my menu. I'm unrooted w/ 2.2.

You may need to be rooted not sure. Don't know if it is carrier specific either.

Are you sure? I thought it was a part of Android.

Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Wi-Fi settings -> Menu -> Advanced -> Regulatory domain

Nope, I have Sleep Policy, MAC address, and Static IP info.
