Enabling CRT-ON animation possible?

Hello,

I'm trying to enable the CRT - ON animation by myself since no ROM seems to be interested in implementing it.

I've the framework-res.apk pulled from my phone but I get errors when I try to decompile it... it ain't possible to decompile the 4.2 framework-res.apk yet?

Is there any easier way to enable the CRT animation?

I'm pretty sure CyanogenMod has that option buried in its settings. I had it on my EVO 4G at least in CM7.
