I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I'm wondering if Verizon is planning on launching to coincide with the conclusion of the Google Challenges on Twitter. Challenge 10 is up right now, which marks the last one.
Is it possible that Verizon gave Google the go ahead to begin handing out the phones and as a small PR move to get a little excitement going launch a Twitter challenge? It is just a theory and I have no proof to back this besides the W/O the 21st image posted a week or two ago. I mean, if Verizon is allowing Google to hand out the phone, assuming its the LTE version, then there's gotta be a chance we hear something about it tomorrow.
Though, reading the official rules states that the prize is only worth 500.00 USD, which seems more like a place holder than anything. But, what do I know? I'm just a misinformed consumer who hasn't heard a concrete date.
