Hasn't this already been covered somewhere? They are EOLing the Incredible they are EOLing the SKU where the Incredible comes with the 2GB memory card. Hence the "One android 2.1 W/2GB Card" on the end of the name.
I figure by the time 3.31.11 rolls around, we will all be drooling over the next new and shiny thing. A shame that the Incredible didn't really get to have much of a life. Hopefully HTC will sooner or later figure out how to release a cool phone with plenty of supply to back it up.
i am not worried about it. i have my incredible for till my next upgrade. by then the Dinc 2 will most likely be around.
Actually VZW ia a WP7 launch partner with at least two phones and possibly three. The KIN fiasco was more VZWs fault than anyone else's - the pricing scheme made no sense for a phone targeted at teens.
Also, the chances of a Verizon iPhone are slim, and as Android consistently beats iPhone in sales it gets slimmer.
As to the EOL date, I also think it is a placeholder. Plus as LTE rolls out they will be wanting to get LTE handsets out in the wild. I just hope that they finally stop underestimating demand, and that the next killer phones actually have enough units available on rollout that they don't suddenyl go out of stock, which pulls the carpet out from under the success of the phone.
What about a Droid Xtacey & Droid Invincible.
Screw Invincible I want Droid Inconceivable......quad core processor, 2Gb of RAM, 1GB of video ram, 32GB internal storage, a screen with a resolution 3x higher, and a battery life of a week!! Not to mention full LTE and SIM capabilities......oh wait this isn't 2015!
No that was the iConceivable, it was only available on AT&T when they started offering WiTE. Sucked for Apple though because it had heat issues with the battery and kept blowing out speakers. The much better Taiwan knock off from HTC should be out in 2015, of course you can't always follow inside information and road maps!
