Enduring Data Usage

Hello.

I'm finding I'm still using large amounts of data, bring my cell data as equally to my WiFi when I'm connected to WiFi. I've tried turning off background data etc. I was under the impression that you simply had to enable WiFi and you had no worries.

Any thoughts.
