Enhancements to the latest B&N Upgrade

I am really pleased with yesterday's upgrade for the Nook. Now we need a "Minimalist Root".
by that I mean finding some way to keep the OS as B&N released it with one change that would allow users to side-load android apps that they get elsewhere.
