Epic 4G - Android System Recovery <3e>

I was driving with my Epic in the cup holder of my car and noticed the following on the screen:

Android system recovery <3e>
Samsung Recovery Utils
- for BML -
Enter: OK Key, Select: Vol Up / Vol Down
reboot system
apply sd card: update.zip
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition

# MANUAL MODE #

The line "reboot system" was highlighted and could be changed with the arrow keys. I don't know what key is "OK Key" but finally hit the Home key and the system rebooted. I think. I don't see any changes and I am still on DK18. I previously installed the "leaked update".

Does anyone know what happened here? Is this the result of the proposed EB13 update.

Should I go ahead and update manually to EB13 using Odin? Then do a reset?

That is the stock recovery screen. You enter it by holding volume down+camera+power.

It just showed up randomly or you tried updating?

hi same problem for me ... I tried to root my phone from FROYO 2.2.1 DDk to latest Android os. Can you pls. help me ??
