(laymans description) the Epic 4g kicks the other galaxy S's butts in terms of performance. At least in THAT series of tests,
and the evo.... well lets just say anyone who wants performance better go epic!
WOW!!! Can't wait till the 31st . I'm taking off from work. Told them i had a EPIC appointment that i couldnt miss. 
How come the motorola droid X gets about 1100 on Quadrant, is it because it is on 2.2?

Droid X scores in the 30's on neocore. DroidX with 2.2 has jit, which helps, and the internal memory is formatted in a special way.
Hummingbird is currently the king of graphics.
The io portion of the quadrant benchmark has a flaw that severly favors the droid x file system and ext 2 3 4 partitions for some reason hence why galaxy s phone with the lag fix score so high also
Wow, those are impressive numbers for a 2.1 phone. It will be interesting to see how it does when it gets Froyo.
The Droid X actually scores around 43-45 on neocore and the quadrant median score is around 1250 on 2.1 on the leaked 2.2 the score is around 1500. The galaxy/epic does have the best graphics fps though.
