Epic Crushes all in latest CR Tests

Well, for all you Consumer Reports ranters who complained that our Epic 4G got the shaft in the last round of tests, the new issue arrived in mailboxes today.

The Epic 4G got an overall score of 76, the best in the test (although tied with a few others). It's on p 33 of the January issue.

Those of you who buy at the newsstands will have to wait a few days.

For $26 you can subscribe to ConsumerReports.org and get way more than a screen shot. This time of year, it could come in handy.

(And no, I'm not going to post the screen shot, but just FYI, when compared with the other phones given the top rating of 76 -- iPhone 4, Captivate, and Vibrant -- it had better voice quality than its twins, better messaging than the iPhone, and the worst battery life of the group. The G2, Droid 2, Droid X, and Fascinate were just one point behind at 75. It's competitive out there.)

You've obviously never dealt with the wrath of CR, the most protective of all copyright enforcers. They'd shut down AC if I posted a scan.
