Equalizer randomly cuts off while playing music

Greetings, I have the ATT S4 with the snapdragon 600. While playing music the equalizer randomly cuts off and on. Even after the update it did this once. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a fix?

Yes I have the same problem on my Verizon S4. It will randomly cut in and out. I have found turning off Adapt Sound for music seems to reduce the issue, but not completely.
